Using Pro markers

This is the first card I have felt confident enough to post with using pro markers!
A combination of markers, cuttlebug, distress ink and serif, so I guess it could be classed as hybrid.
It actually took longer to decide what to do than to actually do but needed to get it done at very short notice so am quietly pleased with the outcome.  No where near anyones standard but still learning :)

Completed Eddie Stobart cross stitch
The framing needs finishing, hence the still obvious kink down the middle. but took the picture while I had my camera to hand
a gift for my lovely husband as a reminder of all the hours spent on the motorway going and collecting my eldest from Uni every week.
Oh the joys of home sporting commitments every weekend!!
Anyhow - part of the time was passed spotting Stobart lorries and looking at the names.
Actually very enjoyable to do - I love working on linen - I think my preferred fabric now :)
Next one is on its way - The Wave - also a gift

First day of semi-retirement

First day of semi-retirement - it sounds so much better than unemployed.  However it does give me the time to do the things that I love to do rather than the things I have to do.  Such a long list...that doesnt include housework!!! Silhouette - must be mastered...Cricut - must be mastered along with the Gypsy.

Cross stitch is a must... so many presents to make but on the plus side one is finished and given and the next one should be finished by next week. This one is my own bespoke design  but the next one will come from a kit.  I will post as soon as it is finished
